... a small town girl with big dreams. After many years of training in various arts and crafts programs, I knew very early on that I wanted to create wearable art. In the fourth grade, I acquired a vast collection of jewelry supplies from my neighbor that passed, who happened to be a jewelry designer. Over the years, I taught myself how to assemble jewelry and took a few local classes. The first piece of jewelry I made sold right off my neck! I was originally studying clothing design at Kent State University, but I decided to try a few traditional metalworking courses, which led to finding my true passion. Post graduation, I moved to NYC and landed a job working in luxury handbags. After that I worked for Calvin Klein while also designing two jewelry collections per year. I officially launched my signature collection in November 2014.
Being New York based, I gain inspiration in everything from art galleries to nightlife, runways to real people, street style to exotic destinations. My point of view as a designer can be summed up in three words: expect the unexpected. You will find a juxtaposition of materials including natural geodes and gemstones, crystals, metal fuzed stones, gold, chain, tassels, and various haberdasheries. I design each piece organically, starting with discovering beautiful materials, and designing around them.
I LOVE statement jewelry, and if it's dainty, I like to pile it on. I believe that accessories make the outfit and are the best way to show off your individual style. And did I mention that I am obsessed with crystals!? I have crystals-a-plenty, and as in nature, each is a truly one-of-a-kind piece. Because you cannot wear crystals head to toe at all times, I also design the "Must Have Collection" for some everyday glamour.
If you are also a lover of beautiful stones, one-of-a-kind pieces, and dainty fine jewelry, then we are a match made in heaven!
